MARKETS
Shopping is part of the Balearic Islands experience but more so on Ibiza which has funky clothes boutiques and markets. The port area of San Penya is the most popular spot.

OTHER AREAS
Palma
The Arab baths or Banys Arabs are next to the cathedral.
Other sights on Mallorca include the north-west coast with small villages, pine forests, olive groves and rocky coastlines. The small port of Sa Calobra is a hairy drive as is the trip to the northern tip Cap Formentor. For walking Soller is a good base. Other nice beaches include Port d’Alcudia, Cala Mondrago and Cala Figuera.

Ibiza
The old walled town of D’Alt Vila is interesting with many upmarket restaurants and galleries. The cathedral and Museu Arqueologic are here.
Some good beaches on Ibiza include Ses Salines (bus access), Cala de Boix (black sand), S’Aigua Blanca (north=, Cala Zarraca (north near Portinatx) and Cala d’Hort (south-west).
