BARCELONA Barcelona hit the world stage
as one of the world’s great cities thanks to the
1992 Olympics. Famed for it’s nightlife and fiercely
independent Catalunyan identity. It is probably the city
to visit in Spain. Modernist architecture is a feature
here with Antoni Gaudi’s main works among which
includes the Sagrada Familia church and the Parc Guell.
Other interesting Gothic constructions include the Barri
Gotic catedral and surrounding old world neighbourhood.
Barcelona’s nightlife is also a highlight with
