TRAIN
The train station is 1.5km south-west of the city centre on Avenida Andaluces.
Trains run from here to most Spanish destinations. Two trains run daily to Madrid.
One takes 9.5 hours and the other 6 hours. There’s one train each day to
Valencia and Barcelona. For Malaga and Cordoba you must change trains in Bobadilla.
There is no urban service or metro for Granada.
BUS
There are two bus stations. Buses for Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia leave from
the Entacar Bus Station on Av. Andaluces. More than 9 buses run daily to Madrid.
The Alsina Graells bus station on Camino de Ronda has services for Córdoba,
Málaga and Seville.
There are only three buses to and from Pampaneira, Bubion, Capileira and other
villages on the way to Alcutar in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Coastal regions
are also short bus trips away.
HITCHING
Granada should be a relatively easy place to hitch from especially to places
around Andalucia. Head to the roads leaving town.
