SPECIAL EVENTS
There are two big festivals in Seville. The first is Semana Santa held the
week before Easter Sunday. During this time a procession of religious brotherhoods
dressed a little like KKK members in pointy hoods and long robes walk through
the city carrying sacred images. Crowds are huge so get a vantage point early.
The second festival is held not long after Easter in late April. It is called
Feria de Abril and the six days of music, dancing, horse riding in Los Remedios
and daily bullfights are fun to join in.
For more details see our festivals page.
