AIR
There is an airport in Seville with domestic and international flights. However budget airlines do not fly here. Aeropuerto San Pablo is about 7km from the city centre off the N-IV Cordoba road. Airport buses run 12 times daily from the centre to Puerta de Jerez. Go to the tourist offices for timetable information.

TRAIN
The Santa Justa train station is the main station for trains. It is about 1.5km from the city centre on Avenida de Kansas city. Services include the fast paced AVE trains to Madrid which run up to 14 times per day (2.5 hours) and Talgos trains (3.5 hours) and the evening Tren Hotel (3.45 hours). Note Eurail pass holders still must pay a supplement on these trains, Interail pass holders do not cover this journey at all.
Other trains run to Cordoba (20 daily, 45-75 minutes), Granada (3 daily, 4 hours), Malaga (3 hours), Valencia and Barcelona. One train runs to Lisbon in Portugal (16 hours), make sure you change in Cáceres.
There is no urban service or metro for Seville.

BUS
There are two bus stations. From the Plaza de Armas station near the instersection of Avenida del Cristo de la Expiación and Calle de Arjona buses leave for Extremadura, Madrid, Mérida, Salamanca, Portugal and western Andalucia.

Buses to other parts of Andalucia leave from Prado de San Sebastian bus station on Plaza San Sebastian (behind the Alcazar gardens). 10 services daily run to Cordoba (2 hours), Granada (4 hours), Malaga (3.5 hours) and Madrid (6 hours). Other services run to Algeciras, Cádiz, Córdoba, Málaga, Ronda and the Costa del Sol as well as destinations further up the coast including Alicante, Barcelona and Valencia.

To Lisbon (Portugal) there are five weekly direct buses (8 hours). Daily buses to Lisbon also run with a transfer at the border (9 hours). If you are heading to the Algarve change at Huelva or on the border at Ayamonte.

Within Seville is a fairly good bus system. Here are a few routes to note:
Bus C4 – Plaza de Armas bus station to the city centre
Bus C1 and C2 – Santa Justa train station – Avenida de Carlos V – Prado de San Sebastian bus station – city centre – Plaza de Armas bus station.
