Destination Tip - Granada
Granada is another of Andalucia’s gems with its Moorish past encaptured in the amazing Alhambra which dominates the city skyline. There are fantastic Arab tea and bath houses, markets lining narrow alleyways, warm sunny plaza’s and a resident gypsy population. Spain’s highest mountain range, the Sierra Nevada, is only a day trip away and has picturesque villages to explore and great walking and skiing opportunities.
Destination Tip - Dali Museum, Figueres
For those that like the famed Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dali there is plenty to see of his work in other Spanish museums. But for hard core fans you will need to take a trip to Figueres.
